No. This app is a writing system plus a set of writing tools that help you structure and write your paper. While it can help you to reword a paragraph, it doesn't write the entire paper for you.

You can disable all AI-writing features for a particular draft. This ensures that you won't accidentally break any rules against using AI to write for you. Note that you can still get the benefit of other AI features like automatic note creation and AI chat.

Yes. The system is designed for general research-based writing across disciplines.

Great! You can upload both your existing notes and your sources that don't have notes yet. The app is designed to handle both, and it does much more than note creation.

You can purchase a balance refill when you have active paid access. That adds to your AI quotas (chat, edits, summarization, voice, etc.) and re-enables those features. Non-AI features remain available until the end of your subscription regardless. See current refill prices.

No. Uploading a document does not consume AI quota. Therefore you can upload as many documents as you want.

Nope. You can write as many papers as you want with the same subscription.

AI summarizes your sources paragraph-by-paragraph so you can easily review and verify them. In my experience, the summaries are usually good but I still check them.

AI is fallible and may, on some occasions, return inaccurate information. However, this app tries to prevent this from happening. For example, when the AI returns a quote from a source, the app checks the quote against your material and marks the suspect quote. However, as with all AI, trust but verify.

It currently only supports English. Let me know if you'd like it to support another language.

Quota balances are not refundable or transferable.

Partially. The app works offline except for AI features and document export. (Document export relies on a server connection to create the bibliography, and therefore export requires you to have an internet connection.)

No. I will never sell your data to data brokers or third parties. I only use it to improve the app.
